Mango Pickle

Undoubtedly the king or rather the mother of all pickles, north or south, it’s a household essential with lot of variations.

Being a North Indian, my taste buds have got to introduced to the typical dry mango pickle with the addition of chickpeas, garlic and jackfruit for variety.

The recipe is one that has been passed down too many generations. I owe the success of my pickling to my other who was perfectionist to say the least. It is from her inherited the precisely perfect recipe, where you can’t go wrong.
